The tasks that we needed to complete were at an achievable level for my two grandsons and myself. The staff were very helpful and the experience was entertaining. Go to different place ! Stay away! Also, my group didn't finish in the allotted amount of time they wouldn't even show us what we did wrong. The staff was unfriendly and not very helpful when needing help. This was my 3rd time to experience a "mystery room" at 3 different places in town. Even with the Groupon, to me, it wasn't worth what was paid. Tip: Ignore their rules if you want to finish. That said, the room we used was quite challenging on a couple of the clues with just 2 of us and 45 minutes to solve. These are small cubicle rooms with open ceilings and few items/decorations in the room. Online video and promotion from other places looked so much more elaborate. Thank you, Delores Pettes Lauren 6 years ago It was a great way to celebrate my friends birthday this year. It was fun and fast-paced because of the time limit. I was embarrassed that I was unable to help my team much, but the guys did a great job and we made it out before the time was up. We had fun competing with the room next door (also part of our group). The clues were challenging though, but it definitely lacked in ambiance.
With that said, I felt that it did not live up to the "adrenaline rushed, locked in a room and I need to get out" atmosphere or feeling that an escape room should have. Which I felt was contradicting to the whole I need to find a way to escape game. There was also another door that did not have a lock that the employee came in and out of to help you along the way. The room looked like a cubicle, so you did not have the feeling like you were trapped in a room.
